at first, it was because of the trailer from quickplayer and i just love the idea of a movie about finding yourself (yes, this was one of those kind of movies), and okay, i must admit : i bought the dvd because i see Radcliffe's name in it. but the more i watched it, the more i realised that he wasn't the star of the movie.

this movie's about friendship and family, yeah like i'm going to give you the spoiler ! as if ! anyway, i thought this movie has more than radcliffe's pretty face and the beautiful australian scenery. it was more about longing.

the big plot was the boys compete against each other to be adopted, during their stay on a summer vacation. there you'll see something you'll love : the fish named henry (yes,i'm rambling), our girl Lucy, Bandy and skipper and one couple LONGING for kids and that was about all (it was a very small town)

again, about the longing part, you'll put two and two together, the orphans longed to be adopted (except for Maps), the couple longed for kids, Bandy and Skipper longed to, well, exist, even Henry longed to live (he was dead eventually). see what i'm talking about ?

my favorite lines was :
"who knows if any of us would have ever comeback, we could have gone on thinking of the Cove like one of those old postcards...realer than real"

warn you though, this wasn't a movie to enjoy, it was more of a movie to contemplate

gue suka banget lagu ini, walopun ga tau sapa yang nyanyi dan ga tau apa judulnya (padhal kalo tau kan bisa sing-a-long) hehehehe
